Clematis Patio Olympia Boulevard 10.5cm Pot

Boulevard is an incredibly impressive series of clematis bred by the award winning nurseryman, author, and photographer Raymond Evison at his nursery on the island of Guernsey. A world renowned expert in clematis breeding, his exhibits have won an incredible 29 gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. With that in mind, you just know that �Olympia� is sure to be something special. This compact clematis will bloom all the way along its stems, resulting in a profusion of extravagantly large, bright purple-blue flowers from the ground upwards from June until November, an incredibly long flowering season. Shorter in stature than most clematis, �Olympia� is perfect for growing up obelisks and trellises, especially in containers. Also, they�re great in hanging baskets too � an interesting alternative to the more usual trailing plants, with abundant flowers creating breath-taking displays month after month. Supplied as an established plant in a 10.5cm pot, ready for planting and reaching a height of 1.5 m (5 ft) and width of 50 cm (20 in).
